At PrintLinx, we are driven by the recognition that we all share responsibility for ensuring a sustainable future for our children, and their children. That's why we are committed to reducing our environmental footprint and helping our clients to minimise their impact on the planet, too.

It's important to remember that when you communicate with ink on paper, you are using one of the most environmentally friendly processes possible. For a start, our base material, paper, is derived from a sustainable resource (timber), and is fully recyclable and reusable.

This, coupled with a growing range of internal initiatives, makes us a sound choice for environmentally responsible printing.

Yet we know, too, that there can be no compromise on the quality and effectiveness of your print job. That's why we are committed to environmental initiatives which offer you superior performance as well as peace of mind.

Our sustainability initiatives include:

• FSC chain of custody certification - FSC chain of custody (CoC) tracks FSC certified material through the production process - from the forest to the consumer, including all successive stages of processing, transformation, manufacturing and distribution.
• Waste management - we reuse wherever possible and separate our paper, glass, plastic and other waste for streamed recycling
• Resource management - we have implemented numerous measures to minimise consumption of energy, water and consumables
• Efficient Technology - new-generation technology across all business areas delivers optimal efficiency, power consumption and environmental performance
• Eco-friendly products - we offer less damaging products, such as vegetable based inks, acqueous (water-based) coatings and varnishes and minimise the use of alcohol and other VOCs.
• Water - as well as minimising the use of water in the printing process we capture and store rainwater for use in toilets and for garden irrigation.
  Suppliers - we choose to use suppliers who share a commitment to the environment
• But it doesn't stop there.

At PrintLinx, we are constantly reviewing our processes and procedures and evaluating their impact on our environment. Where possible, we continue to change our practices and procedures to minimise that impact and, of course, we are keen to introduce new initiatives as they are developed, to help make our print 'cleaner and greener'.
