The foundation of any great print job is superb prepress. At Printlinx, we have invested in state of the art solutions which deliver the highest quality and productivity in the full range of prepress services.

This includes the latest computer to plate (CTP) technology, digital proofing, web upload and digital approval systems, asset management and quality assurance procedures and devices.

Working on both Apple Macintosh and PC platforms, our skilled prepress specialists use state of the art technology and a support wide range of native publishing software formats to achieve first class results.

Driving our systems is a highly advanced PDF workflow from AGFA, :Apogee Prepress, which utilizes the Adobe CS engine at its core. This configuration gives us the best possible results in PDF preflight, flattening, trapping and colour management.

We use both traditional and Hybrid cross-modulation screening to achieve screen-rulings far above today's industry standard, combining AM and FM screening technologies to get the best possible results across continuous-tone, midtones, shadows and highlights.

Printlinx prepress conforms to ISO 12647-2:2004, we maintain this standard though testing procedures and devices, all controlled by the :Apogee workflow.

Ink usage and colour setting are sent directly to the presses via CIP4 and JDF/JMF data is being incorporated to complete the automation and reporting loop.

The integrity and superiority of our system is ensured by our technical licensing agreement with AGFA and our Adobe Partnership program, which makes sure our customers have access to the latest developments and improvements as they are released, guaranteeing them resources and facilities at a international standard.
